Urban Jungle
How can dynamic co-working in the banking sector be successfully implemented at German locations? An internationally operating banking institution tasked us with redesigning their office spaces with this question in mind. We developed a New Work concept that harmoniously combines collaboration, networking, and open retreat areas.
Details
The focus of this project was on creating a shared space that breaks away from the traditional work-desk setup. The offices had to be reimagined and work areas needed to be established to facilitate dynamic work. There are no fixed workstations; instead, a diverse range of workspaces is offered: drop-out areas, open spaces, and cubicles - all equipped with state-of-the-art office technology and video conferencing capabilities, enabling high levels of connectivity within the office and facilitating global collaboration.
The multifunctional touchdown furniture was custom-designed by us. Fluid transitions between niches make the space available for agile work, discussions, communication, and networking. Small meeting room-like cabins also allow for a more private atmosphere. A textile room divider allows for separating the spaces when needed for focused work. Inspired by the building’s outer façade concept, the triangular motif was also incorporated into the interior design. The wallpapers along the core wall and the room dividers pick up on the geometric shapes and reinterpret them - inside out.
